The Bicycle Ride Across Georgia
June 4 - 11, 2022 | Columbus, GA to Brunswick, GA
ALL BRAG RIDES INCLUDE...
BRAG is a Bicycle Ride, Not a Race. It's All About the Journey!
On Big BRAG, cyclists will average about 55 miles per day for one week, with a day off in the middle.
It may sound like a lot of riding, but you're fully supported by accompanying SAG vehicles and frequent, well-stocked rest stops every 12 - 18 miles. Your favorite snacks, drinks, fun activities, and great views are never too far away!
BRAG routes guide bike riders through some of the most friendly and welcoming towns. Plan to take your time along the way to eat some of the best food Georgia has to offer. Whether coming alone or with a group, you'll have an adventure of a lifetime. With at least 1500 participants, you'll definitely make new bike friends at BRAG!
When you pull into camp after your ride, stop by the BRAG Bar to grab a cold beverage, head to the hot showers on site, and then enjoy lunch from one of the food trucks. Each afternoon, we have BRAG-tivities scheduled like bike trivia, one-legged bike races, educational cycling classes, yoga, and massages. Every night we've lined up concerts, DJs, and festivals in each overnight town we stay.

MILLEDGEVILLE LAYOVER - June 5 Overnight
You'll find lots to do during our extended stay in Milledgeville. On the layover day, you can bike around Milledgeville, cycle the Oconee Greenway, visit the town's charming downtown, or take a much-deserved day off!
Milledgeville's connection to literary history is another standout feature. It was once home to notable writers such as Flannery O'Connor and Alice Walker. The Andalusia Farm, where Flannery O'Connor lived and wrote, is a popular attraction for literature enthusiasts.
Nature lovers appreciate the town's proximity to Lake Sinclair, providing opportunities for water recreation and scenic views. The town's parks and green spaces, including Lockerly Arboretum, offer tranquil settings for relaxation and outdoor activities.
