Landmarks in Clarkesville include Grace-Calvary Episcopal Church and the De Soto monument across from the Courthouse.

Moccasin Creek State Park is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains on the shores of Lake Burton and offers camping, boating, fishing and hiking.
