Ride Refund Policy

You may request a refund for a ride up until the last day to request a refund as published below. If you purchased items such as jerseys or additional merchandise that has already been ordered, we will not be able to cancel or refund those items. If you registered under the pretense of receiving promotional items such as team jerseys or referral jerseys, the cost of those items may be deducted from your refund amount.

Submitting for a Refund

Please submit refund requests here. Please note we do not make exceptions in our refund policy (including family, medical or employment situations).  Refunds will be processed through the credit card you used to register when possible. Please allow up to 14 days for processing. Please note your refund will be reduced by the amount of the RaceReach platform and Credit Card processing fees (4%). BRAG Refunds 100% of the funds BRAG receives. 

Protecht Registration Refund Program

By purchasing the protection provided by Protecht in their Registration Refund Program, you make your experience flexible and receive 100% of your registration fee back if you are unable to attend due to several refundable reasons, including: Personal Illness (Including Covid), Injury resulting in you or a companion being unable to attend the event for which the ticket is purchased, Injury or illness of immediate family member that is considered life threatening or requiring hospitalization or which requires you to provide primary care to that person, Death of youself or companion within 30 days prior to the event, Severe Weather, Personal Injury, Active Military Duty, Pregnancy Complications, Travel Interruptions or Delay, you are required to travel for work-related purposes, are terminated or laid off, through no fault of your or a companion’s own, your home being made uninhabitable by fire, flood, burglary, vandalism, or natural disasters, jury duty. Additional Insurance

For Ride Additional Insurance, we encourage you to reach-out to third-party vendors, such as Allianz. They can provide coverage for things like flights, accommodations not through BRAG, baggage, medical, evacuation, etc.

Person-to-Person Transfer

The sale of ride registration is a private transaction, and BRAG is not responsible for misunderstandings between the two parties, misplaced credentials, or the failure to transfer the credentials into the new owner’s name.

Transferring to a Different Ride

The Bicycle Ride Across Georgia does not allow transferring a registration from one ride to another or from one year to the next. If you need to cancel or request a refund please see the previous section.  

BRAG may cancel or reroute an event due to the occurrence of any force majeure event or credible threat thereof, including but not limited to any Act of God, fire, earthquake, acts of civil or military authority, casualty, flood, war, terrorist attack, epidemic, insurrection, civil unrest, strikes or other labor activities or any other similar cause beyond the reasonable control of Bicycle Ride Across Georgia, Inc., including environmental conditions that might threaten the health and safety of Event participants, volunteers or staff. I understand and agree that my registration fees and other costs will not be refunded by Bicycle Ride Across Georgia, Inc. if all or any portion of a an  Event is cancelled or rerouted due to a force majeure event. I will release and hold Bicycle Ride Across Georgia, Inc. harmless for any costs or damages incurred as result of cancellation or rerouting of a BRAG Event due to a force majeure event.
