File a Protecht claim

If you purchased refund protection at registration

Best option · 100% back

If you added Protecht's Registration Refund Program when you registered, file a claim directly with them. You'll receive 100% of your registration fee back for any covered reason — paid by Protecht, not BRAG. This is the fastest, simplest path to a full refund.

Covered reasons include:

Personal illness or injury Covid-19 Family medical emergency Death of registrant or companion Severe weather Active military duty Pregnancy complications Job loss or required work travel Home uninhabitable Jury duty Travel interruption or delay

Request a refund from BRAG

If you're past the refund deadline — or didn't purchase Protecht coverage

Deadline-based · less 4% fee

Submit a refund request before your ride's deadline. You'll receive a full refund minus a 4% non-recoverable processing fee. Refunds are returned to the original card within 14 days.

Please note: We do not make exceptions for personal, medical, or employment circumstances. Jerseys or merchandise that has already been ordered are non-refundable. International invoices are due 120 days before trip start.

Sell your registration

A private transaction between you and a buyer — available anytime

Peer-to-peer · anytime

You can find a buyer and sell your spot directly to them, collecting payment privately. BRAG is not involved in or responsible for the transaction. Once you've agreed on a price, use the transfer links below to move the registration into the new owner's name.

Important: Registrations cannot be transferred between different rides or from one year to the next.

Additional Notes

Additional travel insurance

BRAG refund policy does not cover flights, accommodations booked independently, baggage, or medical costs. For additional coverage, we recommend third-party providers such as Allianz.

Force majeure

BRAG may cancel or reroute any event due to Acts of God, fire, earthquake, flood, war, epidemic, civil unrest, or any other event beyond our reasonable control. Registration fees are not refunded in these circumstances.
