HISTORIC RUTLEDGE, GEORGIA

Surrounded by miles of beautiful farmland, Rutledge's historic district is only a half-block square and is virtually unchanged since the heyday of the railroad.

Tucked away less than three miles from I-20, Rutledge had its start in the 1840s when the railroad was extended to that point. The city was founded in 1871 and now offers visitors quaint shops, dining, and outdoor entertainment all within an easy walk of the town park.

Rutledge was recently listed by Southern Living as a great spot to get off I-20 and get delicious food.
